• Raised over $100,000 for critical aid of Etyopyawi
• Funded the implementation of water projects and provided emergency food aid reaching over 30,000 beneficiaries
• Organized and hosted three annual family fun events bringing together thousands of Etyopyawi and friends

There is an oft repeated statistic which states that Ethiopia receives more emergency aid per capita than any other developing country in the world but conversely receives less development aid per capita than any other developing country in the world.   

This is clearly emblematic of the vicious cycle that Ethiopia is constantly in.  If we simply treat the symptoms of the problem (i.e. emergency aid) and not the fundamental conditions that lead to them (via development aid) then we are destined to repeat tragic history again and again.   

We at YAGForLife are dedicated to creating the platform for long term sustainable development in Ethiopia. To this end, we have identified providing access to safe drinking water as our primary funding objective and selected A Glimmer of Hope Foundation as our primary implementation partner.
